Flavor Flow - Smart Beverage Dispenser Machine





Introduction


In my role as the group leader, I spearheaded the development of a sophisticated smart beverage dispenser machine using Arduino Uno and NodeMCU ESP8266 WiFi modules. This project showcases my expertise in hardware design, microcontroller programming, and collaborative teamwork. Project Overview


Our Smart Beverage Dispenser is a culmination of cutting-edge technology, seamlessly integrating hardware components and software solutions. The heart of the system lies in the Arduino Uno and NodeMCU ESP8266 modules, facilitating communication and control. The machine incorporates an infrared (IR) sensor for cup detection, 12V diaphragm pumps for fluid dispensing, LCD displays with I2C modules for user interaction, 4x4 keypads for input, and relay modules to manage the power supply.

Key Features


User-Friendly Interface: The cashier machine simplifies the ordering process. Users select their drink type and size, generating a unique order number displayed on the LCD screen.

Wireless Communication: The ESP8266 WiFi modules enable seamless communication between the cashier machine and the main beverage dispenser, ensuring efficient order transmission.

Order Verification: To maintain order accuracy, users input the generated order number using the keypad on the beverage machine. The system verifies the entered number before dispensing the ordered drink.

Multi-Voltage Power Supply: The system incorporates both 12V and 5V power supplies to accommodate the diverse voltage requirements of the components, ensuring optimal performance.
